From Our Florida EAA chapter 203 we have a group of people advertising this license plate. The reason why we created this plate was to generate money for aviation scholarships that able to be put towards anything in aviation, for any age, whether that’s flying or atc, or if you are already in a aviation career or you are working towards it. The scholarships are given out by our EAA chapter and by aerospace/Sun N fun. We are currently holding a booth at Sun N fun to promote the license plate but we are running out of time, Sun N fun promised to help us out, because they are getting the money for scholarships with out hard work, but they haven’t done what they promised. They promised signs all over the event and for the be announced multiple times. On our own time we travel to different airports talking about the license plate, handing out flyers. Created instagram posts on eaa203_chapter. We have been reaching out to other companies to have our stuff be at their booth, and other influencers to help us. The need for pre-orders started in 2025 and we only have around 600/3000 preorders, for it to actually be made, and for people to get scholarships. Our deadline is the end of October so we are really cutting it close, and we really need this to work. Me and my boyfriend Matthew Capio have just started being on the team with this license plate, and before this whole team was being ran by older guys, so their knowledge has been limited so we have been trying to help them out. Only Florida residents are able to buy one and the problem too is people just don’t want to spend money, but a preorder is cheaper than to actually buy it. Our sale is 33. For the plate, plus the dmv tax 2.95 adding up to 35., and if the person orders in front of us they get a free black and white airplane license frame. Other specialty plates are 80-90 dollars. We thinks it’s way harder for us because we believe other license plate for Florida didn’t have to reach this goal and if they did they had way more money and time than us.
