I know this is probably an impossible question to answer- I want to go the The Flaming Lips show tonight in Houston, but doors open at 6 and I don't get out of work until 8, could be at the show by 8:30. They are playing 2 sets, how much do you think i would be able to catch? I feel like the timing of concerts (like doors open vs when the music starts) is always a mystery to me.

I had tickets to see Flaming Lips when they came with Modest Mouse and they had an emergency and didn't perform and have been bummed about it ever since.

Edit: decided to go!
