I love the look ( the darker colour ), price and size - I just read horror stories about Ashley furniture. Saying that- we are two people with one 35lb dog. My hope is for a 5 year couch at least ( realistic with a dog and a spouse at 200lbs).

Deinfluence me! Is this a terrible choice given my situation?

What other options may be better around this price ( under 2k cad).
