I went to the NIOS center today for an enquiry. I passed the UP Board with 55%, and they asked me to pay a fee of 10,200. But online, I found that the fee structure for 5 subjects is 2,600. So what should I do, and whom should I believe? I'm really confused.
I have four time skips in my story.
The first one happens after the first arc (12 chapters) and skips ahead by 2 weeks because the MC is recovering.
The second happens after 5 chapters when the training arc starts, and it skips 2 months.
Then after 3 more chapters, there’s another skip near the end of the training arc, which is around 6 months later.
So my question is: are these too many time skips for Volume 1? Also, how should I cover them properly? Should I explain all the changes and progression during the skips, and how much detail should I include? What’s the best way to handle this without making it feel rushed or awkward?
I’m currently writing a story with a concept where the MC is writing his own story as a web novel (for certain reasons), based on his past. But I’m worried that if I start with this chapter, readers might drop it since it’s not the main story. I want to keep the mystery around him and not reveal how he changed from his past too early.
So I’m thinking of starting with a Meta Interlude (Chapter 1, about 350 words), then moving into the core story of his past. I also plan to show him again every 10 or 12 chapters in new interludes, gradually revealing the mystery. I’ve structured the story with this layered approach in mind, and I’ve already planned the ending.
Genre: Isekai, progression, regression, action, adventure, dark, tragedy.

11th wasted. 12th serious padayi yet bcz of UP board only 55% so willing to give again 12th exams. Jee score... Likha bhi nahi jaa rha...
