Hi, 34M recently diagnosed with multiple stones via ultrasound and suggested for Laproscopic removal. I haven't had any symptoms since early March, largely credited to reducing overall fat intake and exercising more. Get a slight pang every here and there in the upper right area, but it's always brief and never anything that takes me out of comission.

One thing noted during the ultrasound was the signs of presence of NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease). I've tried bringing this up to both my GI and PCP, but it's been largely overshadowed by the presence of the gallstones / sludge.

I have Psoriatic Arthritis and take biologics to keep this under wraps. My concern is the potential impacts having my gallbladder removed would have on my liver, since it's already under duress handling PA and the biologic.

Just seeing if anyone else found themselves in a similar boat and could advise on what their course of action was and / or their outcome. If I didn't think this would mess with my liver further, I'd have no hesitation to get the thing taken out. I'm currently trying to get a second opinion from a Hepatologist and a Rheumatologist.

Thanks
