One of my favorite pieces I inherited from my grandmother, I believe it to be Victorian due to the snake, Etruscan revival style and ruby cuts. There is one mark but I cannot make out what it says. I assume it would be Italian origin as my family lived there.
I inherited these pearls from my grandmother, I did some digging and the store these pearls came from has been around since 1926. That being said, the clasp itself seems older to me, especially since the diamonds (super hard to see) are almost sliced? It’s like a super uneven rose cut. I have a feeling the pearls were added to a clasp she inherited but I am not sure. I’d love to hear opinions!
