Hello! I am a first-year Ph.D. student in life sciences who is currently choosing a lab from my rotations. I rotated through metabolism/cell biology focused labs (the labs I am considering joining focus heavily on targeted metabolomics analysis). At this current point in my education, I am definitely considering industry rather than academia. I was wondering, has anyone here made the leap from a truly wet-lab focus to a data-heavy/bioinformatics focused career? Thanks!
