Professor from another country agreed to work with me for research -- what now?

I cold emailed a bunch of professors about research, and one of them (based in India) finally replied, saying they’d like to work with me and liked my previous work.

I’m confused about 3 things:

  • Is there any issue with doing research internationally/remotely with a professor in another country?
  • What actually happens after this? Like, do we just meet and discuss ideas, or is there usually a structured process?
  • What’s usually the end product of something like this, and how does it look on college applications?

Would appreciate advice from anyone who’s done this before.

BTW, I know it's credible because one of my relatives knows them.

Am I cooked?

I pay little attention during class and took a mock exam, where I scored 50/75 on the MCQ and a 9/14 on the FRQ (Not sure where that puts me currently; if someone would let me know that would be great!). If I review Mr. Sinn's lesson videos and then do a lot of MCQ practice, would I be able to get a 5, or would a 3/4 be more reasonable?

Guys, I swear no one got my version for the AP Bio FRQ lol. I'm not international, I'm from Cali. Anyone got an FRQ 1 on calculating water solute potential and an FRQ 2 on yellow and brown fish?
