Just a few hours ago, my friend and I were at the riverfront, just spending time and walking. After a while, two girls came and sat beside us. One of them was struggling to climb the wall, and both of them started laughing at the situation. I also laughed not to make fun of her, but just at the moment itself. Eventually, she managed to climb up.
After that, she looked at me, and we both smiled at each other casually. My friend was on his phone, listening to songs, while I was looking at the river, the view, and the people around. I’m not 100% sure, but it felt like she might have been looking at us too.
After some time, I told my friend that we should leave, and he agreed. He asked me to bring the bike, so he stayed there while I went to get it. Meanwhile, as my friend later told me, she was looking toward him and also in my direction while I was going to get the bike.
When I came back, I signaled my friend (in our usual “men’s language”) that we should go. As he started walking toward me, both the girls also left the place. That made me curious—was one of them interested in us?
We continued walking since our path was the same. I stopped to get ice cream, and both girls looked at us before walking away. While I was deciding what to eat, my friend was looking around. Suddenly, he noticed that one of the girls was trying to come toward us, but the other pulled her back, and then they left.
After buying the ice cream, I noticed that both of them had stopped on the outer road and seemed to be arguing about something. When we finally left and reached the same road, we couldn’t find them anywhere.
