non-art colleges that are artistic?
Forgive me if this is the wrong sub, or if it's too general.
I'm a rising Junior and really struggling to find a college I'm genuinely interested in. I'm a pretty great student IMO- NHS, Mock Trial, volunteer hours, extracurriculars, AP/Honors classes, good grades, good relationships with my teachers. My weighted GPA right now is a 4.0. I honestly think I could get into a really good college, maybe not Ivy, but adjacent, you know?
I'm not interested in art as a career or a major, but I'm still artistically inclined and passionate, and love to be with other artists of all kinds. I love reading and writing, I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, it's on my bucket list to start a punk band, the whole everything, I just love art.
For my career, though, I'd prefer civics, law, or biology.
Anyway, my question is: what prestigious colleges attract artists but aren't explicitly for art?
Preferably in the Northeast or Texas. Thank youu <3
