I'm new to growing raspberries. I planted nine bare root canes in the autumn, about five months ago. They still show no sign of new growth - we've now had a couple of months of warm weather and I've composted and watered. When I scrape the bark, they are still green (see photo). But are they dead? Everything I've read says they should be well underway with new growth by now. Any advice appreciated.
