Hi, I have a question about taxes on an inherited property.

My father died a few months ago, so my brother and I are inheriting his house, which was my dad's primary residence. I want to buy my brother's half. Neither of us is living in the house at the moment. Will my brother have any taxes to pay if he sells me his part at a price below fair market value?
