I've seen many posts related to banking but can't find any similar to my situation.

What could a career path for a credit analyst at a energy company look like? Essentially reviewing financials of large companies and establishing credit for them. Unsure if I need to describe the role.

I studied finance and this would be my first role out of college. This isn't really traditional finance and I don't know how much exposure it will provide to the energy markets. I just don't want to end up stuck and with zero exposure to the work I would probably rather be doing.
