Hello! I’m an RCA and just passed my 90 days in the beginning of April.
I helped at another station twice and really liked it. The postmaster there asked if I’d want to transfer because they have more hour opportunities, a regular who’s out a lot ( which I would end up subbing that route) and another retiring soon. My current station is much bigger, but we’re stacked with RCAs and I’m not getting the hours I’d like.
I feel like transferring could be better long-term, but it’s a scary move. Has anyone transferred as an RCA? Did it work out, and if you didn’t like it, were you able to transfer back?
