I’ve been trying to convince some people I play survival games with to give No Man’s Sky a shot, but I’ve had no luck so far.

The ones refusing to play keep saying things like: the game has no real goal, it’s too shallow, there’s no strong player character or personality, no real story, not enough action, and the combat isn’t great.

Personally, I play this genre mainly for building and exploration, so those things never really bothered me. But I’m curious do you actually agree with these? And more importantly, what’s a good way to counter them?
