A brief update for those of you asking: after one of the absolute worst weeks of my life and 5 long days in the ICU my sweet girl is back home and on the mend. A special thank you to the staff at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Oakdale, MN for their outstanding care and compassion.
And thank you to everyone who kept us in their thoughts and prayers as we navigated this awful illness. While the expert care we received at AERC got us through this nightmare I have no doubt that everyone who was rooting for us gave us the special energy we needed to make it home. It brought me a lot of comfort to know people were thinking of us ❤️
I’d also like to give a shoutout to my girl’s breeder, Joyce Winkels at Itoba, for her support, compassion, and knowledge during this extremely difficult time.
