tldr; I would like to start to build a lineup of Credit Cards I can take advantage of but not sure what to go for considering my existing Credit Cards. I've done some research and have read about the Chase Trifecta, Capital One Venture X and what not, but they seems to be meant for a next-step, not really a first step in the lineup.
My lineup consists of:
- Discover It Chrome card (started as a secure card)
- Amazon Store card (only applies for Amazon & Whole Foods purchases)
- Apple Card (daily driver for the 2-3%)
- PNC Bank Core (needed a 0% balance transfer urgently, never use it anymore)
In case it helps for context, I've got letters on the mail urging me to apply for:
- American Express Gold
- American Express Blue Cash
- Chase Sapphire Preferred
- Capital One Savor
- Capital One Quicksilver
- Citi Rewards+
I've been pre-approved for the Discover It card.
I am moving into a new apartment in the next month so I like the 5% cash back on activation of the Discover Card considering that category is exactly in the next Quarter for cash back, possibly 1-2 flights planned before the end of the year and at least 1-2 monthly dinners at restaurants. My credit score is 765-795.
Thank you so much in advance for your comments.
