Hello,
Renovating an older space and getting ready to install a shower. Before connecting anything, I want to confirm whether this pipe is actually a drain.

It seems likely since there are hot and cold supply lines nearby, so I’m guessing there used to be a sink here — but I’d like to be sure.

The pipe is copper with some aluminum fittings, and the opening measures 1 1/4".

Any insight would be appreciated—thanks in advance!
