HELP! One month of groceries/meals for 3 adults and only $250 budget?
My income just changed and I'm now tasked with feeding 3 adults with dietary restrictions (including myself) on around $250. I already have a couple of staples like rice and beans, I use every grocery store app, buy things like eggs in bulk, and compare pricing for certain items using each store's website.
I'm lucky to have a Vons, Stater Bros, Costco, Dollar Tree and even a weekly farmer's market within 15 minutes of me here in Southern California so I can figure out which items are cheapest where and try to go to multiple stores on the same block or two in order to get cheaper items while using less gas.
- Any other staple ingredients that you use?
- Anything you know of for ingredients that can make multiple meals, ideally vegetarian (eggs + dairy okay)?
- Are there any apps you use that add to your experience?
Much appreciated!
