I’ve always been a dream to see the Northern Lights. I’ve always loved Norse Myths. Since I was a kid. So when my wife asked if I wanted to go on a trip for my 50th-I immediately said “Iceland”. As it turns out; we can go mid July this year (while the kids are in camp). Obviously we can explore the place that inspired the Norse, but the chances of seeing the lights that inspired the Bifrost is slim to none

So guess my question is: is it worth visiting in July when the lights are one of your priorities?

I guess I have a second question: since the lights are off the table; we thought of doing a Eurotrip-with the last stop in Reykjavik to do a couple days sights and spa. So the second question is: what are some other destinations that might be easy/convenient from to Iceland?

Thanks. I’m determined to get out there so any info is much appreciated
