Hello! I was hoping for some advice on replacing an exterior spigot. For context there is an interior spigot (pictured) in my garage with a pipe coming out and going straight out to the exterior hose spigot. I had a freeze break this winter on the internal valve. Easiest solution for me at the time was to just hit the shutoff valve for the house, cut off the interior spigot, and replace it with a sharkbite 1/4 turn temporarily until I'm not going to freeze my ass off doing the replacement. 3 months later I'm ready!

I understand how a sillcock works, but my issue is how far it extends. The interior of the wall is ~6", so the sillcock would extend an additional 6" from the wall, which is a little awkward. If the simplest answer is to make it a little jank and extend the pipe out (toward the camera) and do sort of a u-turn, then so be it.

Is there a better answer to this? Homeowner, happy to buy any tools/parts or whatever. I just need steered in the right direction.

Thank you in advance!
