Google needs to hire a "Crisis Management" consultant or four
Like many of you, I have been unable to use the product for the last week. Like many of you, I switched to Claude Code and resumed getting things done.
What blows my mind is still the lack of any statement from Google. Any form of, "Hey, we know it's broken and we're going to fix it. We're sorry!"
I would love to know what it looks like in there. Is there some high-level decision maker that is just completely shut down... literally under their desk shivering uncontrollably? Or is the relevant decision maker on vacation or something like that?
Why not give a "hey, we care about you" type of statement? That seems like the easiest thing to do.
