WTS Truman Stone Rambler 12.5 D
WTS/WTT Truman Cap Toe**,** casual last, in Stone Rambler. I absolutely love this leather but need a 12EE in a Truman Cap toe and a 12D in the plain toe. (I know doesn't make sense right? I have a jacked up big toe that has a screw in it and for some reason it rubs terribly in Truman cap toes in my normal size.)These will come in a Truman box. If you have a trade I will listen (Nicks, Truman, Whites etc) $240 shipped CONUS.
New to me
Picked up these barely worn Cypress Teacore casual last in 12.5EE. I wear a 12.5 D in the plain toe without issue. But the 12.5 D in a cap toe is messing with the right big toe and the one next to it. I had hoped that it would break in but everywhere but there is fine. SO I decided to try a EE and see if that makes a difference and it sure does. the EE is not too wide or sloppy at all.And my toes have the same room as the 12.5D plain toe. I know most have more room in a cap toe and I do in RW and Parkhurst but not Truman for some reason. I will continue to give the 12.5D pair a chance only because they are Stone Rambler and I know I might not come across a 12.5 EE in them.
Mother’s Day BYO10
Does anyone know if this discount is just for today only. I wanted to talk to Nicks before I ordered.
Missed out
didn’t get back to my cart in the Parkhurst site in time and missed out. If anyone has a 12.5 D that isn’t working out hit me up.
Apollo Waxed Commanders
Got these yesterday barely worn Apollo Wax Commander Richmonds 618. I was worried about the 618 not having enough volume but these feel like they have more room than my Truman 79 last. My only other Pankhurst are a 602 Nicks x Parkhurst collab. I am a big fan of CF Snead leathers.
In the last few weeks I purchased barely worn cap toe stone ramblers and plain toe tobacco snakebite. Both in a 12.5 D 79 last. These are 1/2 size down from my Brannock 13D. The plain toe took less than a week to break in and feel great. The cap toe now have been worn almost daily for several hours and have about 15 miles of dog walking on them and I cannot fix the issue of my right big toe rubbing on the side. I have used stretchers each night and put them on right away for 8-10 hours a day. I know stone rambler is tougher to break in then snakebite but I am afraid that toe will always rub. I contacted Truman and asked if a 12EE in a cap toe might work but I am afraid the width all around might be too much, and if I were to put an insole in I would be back at the original problem. I realize everyone's foot is different and I may just not have a foot for a Truman cap toe. I have no issues with RW IR in 12D, Parkhurst cap toe 618 in 12.5D, and my Nicks x Parkhurst collab in 12.5 D 602 last. Am I overthinking this?
Stone Ramblers this time. Another 79 last. These were an eBay find barely worn. Pics sent don‘t do the leather justice. These will take a little more breaking in than the last pair of Tobacco Snakebite.
