Been obsessed with 80’s fusion/AOR textures lately, so I tried arranging Pollyanna from MOTHER with vocoder and synth layers.
Felt surprisingly natural for this melody.
Picked the opening section of the mix so it feels like the beginning of a journey — starting with the darker atmosphere ofTower of Evil and moving into Long Journey from DQ2.
The full collection continues through DQ3 / DQ4 / DQ5 / DQ8 with chiptune, jazz fusion, prog, orchestral, and retro game-inspired arrangements.
