Hey guys, it’s been like 2 months since I posted this save before but I got super busy lol. A couple of people asked questions so I wanted to answer them with an update now that I’m playing again rather than a reply

I’ve finally finished off the Ottomans and made them a protectorate, and now moved on to recolaiminf French/Spanish America. I’m trying to keep as much of a “rebuilding Rome” roleplay as I can while still having something to do on this save game. I think that my long-time ally Britain may have to be next.

  1. Why and how does Central/Eastern Europe look like that?

Austria beat the Ottomans but couldn’t take Anatolia. Poland-Lituania started beating the Austrians and overextended themselves, then got backstabbed by Prussia. The borders of Prussia and Poland-Lithuania have gone back and forth across the entirety of Central Europe about 5 times now. Every time one looks almost finished, they come back and sweep across the other’s territory, and repeat.

  1. How long does that take?

It’s 1755 now, and they’ve been at war since around 1725. Each pass across Europe takes 5 turns, more or less. I have rakes everywhere and just watch.

  1. Did you try to form Italy?

Originally, yes, but now I’m going full send for Rome

  1. What if Austria and Prussia went to war?

Prussia would absolutely steamroll Austria. No question. Austria cannot do anything for themselves.
