Are seedlings this hard to keep alive or just extremely poor soil choice?
I’ve got a decent amount of seeds stocked up and got tired of waiting on my biobizz to show up. So I thought I’d experiment with some soil from Lowe’s and grabbed some Stagreen without knowing much about it. I have three photos that are surviving well in it that will be transferred to bigger grow bags but I know autos are more sensitive to being transferred so I put them in 5 gallon grow bags. Of those three only one sprouted and it never really grew in the first week. Then it slowly died in the next 2-3 days. To my knowledge I haven’t been overwatering. I only do so when the top layer (1-2”) is dry and then I water a ring around the plant to encourage root growth. If it’s just soil then I should be good but this has been really discouraging for a first time grower.
