I (26f) was dating a guy (25m) since almost a year. Today in the morning around 5 am he dropped me a message saying he doesn’t want to continue the relationship as his parents don’t approve of it. He is also not giving me the proper reason why his parents don’t approve. I feel so devastated and shattered, also numb at the same time. I tried talking him out he doesn’t even seem interested. He very easily said that it is not necessary that you have to end up being with someone you like. I was shattered after listening to this. Guess what, he was the one telling me that he dates to marry! I don’t know what is truth and what is not. I feel so heartbroken and devastated. Even in my worst nightmare i didn’t expect this!
