Ok so this is hopium BUT I’m using evidence from the ingame lore and gallery cards and not comics to prove that cyclops is a vanguard

Ok so what do we know? Well let’s set the stage for season 9: Alchemax has been defeated by Wilson Fisk and sent mostly back to 2099 save for the Alchemax HQ which is still anchored in the present time stream and posing a threat SO the next season will see our heroes tackle the threat head on
Why is Alchemax related to cyclops? Well we have two gallery cards and a trailer hinting at where and what cyclops is doing:
First we have the wedding trailer for season 5 which shows the moment all the attending mutants go marooned in various timelines BUT it focuses mainly on cyclops alone falling into a team storm with no one else
Second we have the fallen saint gallery card in season 7 which says that “my magic had no effect on the structure at the epicenter of the incursion. It was as if the building had been shielded by a powerful extradimensional force”
Third we have the final gallery card showing the Alchemax HQ with a pulsing red energy radiating from it as a shield, also Alchemax soldier are guys with a singular glowing red eye LIKE A CYCLOPS
Ok so from this we can assume that the very thing Alchemax used to SHIELD themselves from the fallen saints magic was cycloid himself, but cyclops can’t shield things that’s not his comic accurate powers? So how do I explain this? Well that’s the thing about rivals as a setting and Alchemax that I’ll get into:
You see Alchemax has this tendency to use high tech cybernetics to create supervillains AND to mind control super heroes they capture and use them as tools for their dystopian goals, we actually have proof of this IN GAME as the skuld legendary angela skin describes her as being forcibly upgraded to be a soldier and her mvp has lore text describing her breaking out of the control to be a hero.
SO do cyclops has been captured in 2099 by Alchemax they COULD have modified him with a suit or with cybernetics to use 2099 technology to utilize his optic blast as a shield for the tower AND as a shield on the battlefield but let’s assume that he’s not a cyborg then where could the shield come from? Well we know he got displaced through time and that he has an close relationship with energy like gambit SO what if like gambit he got new powers from chronomvium as gambit his new powers from a unique chronomvium 20 sided dice what if cyclops own visor was imbued with energy that was connected to his optic blast so the only way Alchemax could use the visor was to force him to blast through the visor to create the shield and punch into the timestream.
What does this all mean? Well duelist and suppprts don’t create shields and a duelist cyclops doesn’t need new powers to fulfill the role but like gambit needed new powers to be a support cyclops is getting new powers too.
If you’ve been reading along and looking at the pictures for reference then you must have notice by now that there are still one picture I haven’t addressed so I will now:
A lot of people are saying that the shady figure on the rooftop is captain marvel and they made great arguments while some said it was Madelyn prior and they made less than great arguments BUT your both wrong
The shady figure is red rogue a accidental clone of rogue that has some but not all of rogues powers, if you look at red rogue and the shadowing figure they both have a lighter colored chest costume with a darker jacket and a darker X shaped belt, red rogue is well red and the shadowy figure has a red glow to her and she has the white streak of hair on her face but her hair isn’t flowing other than that and she is posed like she is the villain of the next season but why?
Well to answer that question we return to the next season setting which is a dystopian 2099 where a corporation uses cybernetics to control people and make supervillains, Alchemax specifically is shown to have soldiers wearing a red uniform and it has a red label and when it invaded the present time stream the 2099 timestream with a red glow (from cyclops optic energy obviously) SO why would a “evil” clone of rogue be red and evil? She was kidnapped by Alchemax and given cybernetic to make her stronger and to control her. If you look at the shadowy picture she seems to be wearing a sort of gambit style head sock but it’s actually a cybernetic attached to her head and the diagonal steak of hair is her white hair poking out of the cybernetic costume. The villain will be Tyler stone and Alchemax with red rogue as the cybernetic muscle.
I provided evidence and in the coming season I WILL BE PROVEN A GENIUS or well all of marvel rivals lore could be thrown in the bin and cyclops could be a duelist- feel free to laugh at me when I’m proven wrong BUT RED ROGUE IS REAL
