Quite like these (Fiio JH13)
I went on a whim getting these, as I wanted a cheaper more detailed set. It's nice, and warm with strong non basshead bass. It's BA's does a solid job at its $40, and under price. Gives these good solid details, and a solid wide soundstage for the $$$.
The bass does cut into the mids, and will make it a tad recessed, but female vocals never come off pushed back. More like they have stayed at the line of back or forward.
I would think it would support male vocals better from its warm tuning, but at least to my ears seems on par with female. I listened to Spencer (Band - Periphery), and Camille (Band - Novelists) who have strong vocals and never came off shouty, but still felt their energy was enough.
The treble is solid, and airy... But it can come off thin at times.... Never had sibliance however.
The cons of this set... The chord sucks, the tips suck, and there is not even a pouch.. let alone a case. Thankfully I had an extra QKZ T1, and case.
In the end a lovely set my ears actually like a good deal, and I'm glad I added to my collection.
