eBay BoD found guilty 2 years ago of harassment towards people critical of eBay
using company money to send live insects, books on surviving the trauma of a dead spouse, and other disturbing items -> to the victims houses
the worst offence being describe as "The harassment also featured Craigslist posts inviting the public for sexual encounters at the victims’ home."
what the fuck ? that could've killed somebody..
Many people on the BoD were charged and served 1-2 years in prison. On top of this, eBay paid a 3 million dollar criminal penalty. Court documents here, although I'm sure most of us have read this by now. But did you know that 4 people that were involved are still serving on the BoD today?
EDIT: they were not involved as one person pointed out. They just so happened to be on the BoD at the same time and were not charged. Irresponsible of me to regurgitate twitter posts as fact so here is the full claim of people that are remaining on the board now:
I do not know any information as factual besides what is stated in the official court document. I am however very curious to how these people on the board did not know about the misconduct, DURING it happening. Seems like a mess of a company ran by parasites.
