I feel like this isn’t something people talk about because they feel embarrassed to ask or initiate the conversation, but I am struggling myself.

I have experience and I have been told I am a confident, approachable individual. I do have an alright CV, it has gotten past the application stage a few times. I’ve had interviews, even trial shifts, but for the most part I do get ignored, even after my time and effort.

I feel like this is a problem no one talks about, it’s taking a knock to my confidence and my mental health. I am 21 and a lot of people around me seem to easily find an income.

I’m curious if anyone else has the same problem, it feels like getting a job is as hard as ever but I feel like I’m alone in saying this.

Is this like a problem just in Hull or do other places struggle with this problem too?
