It seems that situations like this may still be unfamiliar to you—which is understandable. At the same time, it is quite surprising to see how platforms like this, which are not part of the proper channel for hymn distribution, have reached even members of the PNK/CWS choirs and you guys seem an awful lot. One can only imagine how the Music Department would view this situation hahaha. Anyways...
Cases like this are not entirely new. There have been earlier instances where certain hymns seemed to take on multiple roles, which sometimes, like in this case, lead to confusion. For example, in CWS, hymns 61, 98 and 80 were at one point used in ways that blurred whether they functioned as opening or second hymns. In AWS, hymn 470 is another good example, as it has been used as a *bilang*, a before-text hymn, and even as a recessional. Similarly, hymn 138, a devotional prayer hymn, was once used as an opening praise hymn way back in 2016-2017, and the same situation occurred now with CWS 116.
Again, it's already official, if there will be revisions then I guess wait for that, but I highly doubt that they had typos since the video file for this weekend already includes 116 as a prelude, which is a common pattern that it's lineup for the following week.
