heyyy chat! first of all congratulations to everyone who got into nursing school this go round! I was just trying to see if anyone could give me some advice on how I should go about my next steps to get into nursing school! My overall gpa is a 3.06 yes i know defintely not the highest, teas is an 80, I have about 100 hours of hospital volunteering, and my science gpa is a 2.6.. however i found this out after applying for programs as i was under the impression that it was a little higher. I applied to TXST, SHSU, UTHealth Houston, and UTMB. As probably expected, I did not get into txst or shsu and im currently waiting back on the other two but either way its definitely time to explore other options. Ideally, I want to start nursing school in Fall 2026 but if i have to delay that im fine with it as well. However, I know there are other options like ADN programs, Galen, and other for-profit programs like Galen. I really am not sure what exactly to do because i currently go to UTSA and the deadline to reregister for courses has passed so i'm not sure if I could register for classes in time for the summer or fall and like I stated earlier, I reallllly would love to start nursing school in august if there is any chance or possibility. This might be far fetched idk.. but I am delusional so I will make something happen! If anybody could give me some adviceee I really would appreciate it smmm ❤️
