What is happening on the ground level?

Why this huge wave of anti incumbency despite a great overall performance ?

I don't look at stats provided by the ruling government, I'm just looking at the ones from central government bodies which are "controlled" by the BJP and even based on their numbers, TN is in the top 3 in pretty much every key metric.

It's one thing for a new comer to come in and clean up a mismanaged state, it's a completely different ball game to take over an already high performing state and then double down on the success.
