Opinions: Springtrap sucks, Mimic is weak and Ennard is no skill.
Survivors are terrible and maps are horrible.
As you may all know, bite by night is full of flaws and terrible balancing issues. But that's ok! The game is still in beta.
With that said, I want to point one thing out. Even though it may still be in beta, that doesn't mean that the devs can just ignore the game's state and/or make it worse just because they are "experimenting". Whether they like it or not, they have gone global and they are now responsible for the game's state. It doesn't matter if it's still in beta or if they are still learning. They should listen to the community's ideas (not just the skin ideas, but rather the balancing ideas. The community knows what they are demanding because they have been playing asyms for longer and they are the people that want this game to be successful).
With that set aside. Let's begin with the first flaw.
Killers:
-Springtrap
Let's face it. He sucks.
His abilities make up for his lack of movement but don't make up for his lack of versatility.
Sure, he may be able to put traps anywhere but if the survivors decide to loop him in another spot then he will have to lose around 10 seconds of his life to replace the trap, at which point the survivors will switch to another looping spot.
His abilities aren't all good either.
Axe throw is by far the worst ability to use. Hear me out.
If you land a hit on someone with your axe throw and they step on a bear trap, they will instantly get up due to getting damaged by the bleeding effect of the axe. Effectively getting rid of a bear trap, and in some cases, getting out of a closed looping spot.
Axe throw also takes away your ability to put down bear traps (the most important ability for springtrap) in exchange of an aura-read ability (possibly the worst aura-reas ability in the game) and a rush-down ability (that is easily countered).
His scream is terrible, but not as bad as the axe throw. Only thing saving it from getting the worst place of all abilities is the fact that you get rush afterwards.
Rush, is by far the best ability for springtrap. Being able to finally catch up with survivors and dealing a good amount of damage on them is very nice. It also drains very little of your stamina for what it's worth. What's bad about this ability is the fact that it can easily get countered by a single ducking door. If someone closes a door in front of you then you will waste your whole ability + lose all of your stamina.
"Oh! ThEn dON't uSe it oN plAcES wItH do0Rs"
Bitch, there are doors everywhere
They should make it so that whenever you are charging towards a door that is being locked by a survivor, you kick the door and break it (just as if you were punching it 3 times). In this way, we will get rid of the door + avoid draining all of Springtrap's stamina.
This ability is also very situational and specific. If you use it against a fighter then they will use counter to stop it. If you use it against a technician then they will use the vanny mask to avoid being in your sight line. Only survivors you can safely use your charge with are Customer, Medic, and Security Guard. And even then you have to fear of doors because anyone can block your entire ability with a single fucking door.
Now, remember how I said that charge was by far the best ability for Springtrap? And how I am contracting myself by saying that it's very specific and occasional?
That's how bad Springtrap has it.
And don't even get me started on bear traps.
Only 3 for a big ass map? What kidn of joke is this? I understand having 3 bear traps on the pizzeria map is more than enough. But what about forest or the warehouse. We need at least 5 to even block 2 looping spots out of the many that there are. And if 5 seems very broken then at least let him have some type of buff on the amout of bear traps that he has during lms, because during lms against Springtrap he gets cooked. He only has 1 (in-game) hour to get rid of the last survivor. But his slow fat-ass won't get anywhere close to the last survivor because he is one against a single rat using 5 looping spots. And his 3 sad little bear traps don't work for shit because one person can avoid 3 bear traps anywhere any time. Bear traps are meant to be a surprise factor for survivors. They take time to put down and they are good for chasing and killing survivors, good risk - good reward. But during lms you don't have any time, you have to act quick and constantly chase the survivor. Putting down a trap will most likely not work and it will only make you lose time, bad risk - no reward. Increasing the amount of bear traps will solve this problem by making them an actual nuisance for the last survivor standing. (Specially on forest)
-Mimic
They gutted my boy, they slimed him and left the crime sense.
He has no abilities during strenght mode (the worst mode) and he is also very slow.
In speed mode he gets one ability. Leap/Jump. This ability allows him to reach spots/survivors easier. He has a little wind up and then he jumps towards the way you were aiming. This ability is alright, it deals a decent amount of damage and ragdolls the survivors for a fair amount of time. What sucks about speed mode is the fact that you are dealing almost no damage at all. You are tickling their pickle. You are doing nothing.
Stealth mode is the best mode for the Mimic. It creates no sound and it has two abilities. Grab and Dig.
Grab will just make you dash forward and grab someone if you reach them, you can then press the Grab ability again to drill into them and throw them towards the direction you are facing. If a survivor gets in the way of your throw they will get ragdolled for a very long time. Grab is a nice ability. It's somewhat good if you land it and has great value.
Dig is the best ability in the game. If you use it well, you can knock down at least 4 survivors and deal a great amount of damage! While you are leaving your hole you can quickly change into Strenght mode to deal more damage once you get out. Dig also gives you aura-read and makes a drill + dirt moving noise as you move.
With all of this said and done, what is the mimics biggest problem?
Well. HE IS A WEAKLING.
HE JUST TICKLES PICKLES AND DOES NOTHING BUT LOOK MENACINGLY HORRIFYING.
In Stealth mode you have to do a whooping SIX HITS to kill a single fighter. SIX HITS IS A LOT, MIGHT AS WELL JUST PUT HIM ON A WHEELCHAIR AND GIVE HIM A STICK TO POKE SURVIORS.
And to add to this bullshit, he is the killer with the fastest stamina drain. Even with speed mode your stamina drains in 3 seconds. You have it and then it's gone. It's impossible to catch up to survivors without using Dig. He used to have almost infinite stamina during Speed mode, and now he is just a fucking walking simulator killer.
They nerfed him so bad that most people only play Ennard or Springtrap nowadays.
Speaking of Ennard.
-Ennard
ngl**,** I saved worst for last.
Ennard has the most no skill, no life, big loser, brain dead, and high cortisol gameplay out of every character in bbn.
All of his abilities just make his job waaaaaay easier than it already is. Lets start with the worst one (which ironically is better than any of Springtrap's abilities)
Grab. You extend your arm and bring a survivor towards you, basically destroying all of the progress that survivor had made at keeping their distance from you, they also don't gain any type of stamina boost, so if they were grabbed with 0 stamina than they are cooked. Only bad thing about this ability is the fact that has a very small hit box.
Ennardlings. Summon two horrible ennard-like worms that leech onto survivor, slowing them down while making them blind. Why did ennard need this? I have no fucking idea, it's not like she was struggling at getting kills. It's pretty easy to get kills as Ennard.
These ennardling while requier you to shake your screen in order to get rid of them, which slows you down and, if you are in a chase, completly stops you from moving. Which means death. Not only this, but they also have an after explosion that deals a good amount of damage. I have died due to these explosions at least three times. But three times is enough to send me over the edge because it makes no fucking sense. Want it enough with slowing us down and making us blind?
Skin thingy. Use the skin of a dead survivor and pretend to be them. This is by far the most OP abilitu in the game. Not only you cannot be able to know if the other person is ennard or not, ennadd can also pretend to be fixing gens.
THEY ARE GLAZING ENNARD, THSY ARE RIDING HIS MEAT SO HARD RN. THD DEV TEAM LOVDS SNNARD. THEY LOVE TO RIDE ENNARD'S MEAT. I AHTE THEM SO MUCN, I HATE ANNRZ.
And that's not all. While disguised he can attack by stabbing multiple times a survivor (which deals a shit ton of damage) and throw an ennardling toward the direction they are looking at (they can sniper you). Not only that, but his stabbing hit box is HUGE. I was like 2 meters away from them when they missed their stab but somehow managed to land it in the last second just because they changed the direction they were looking it, and we were like 3 meters apart. 💔🥀 (it was not lag, my ms was at 45).
Not only this, but whenever he gets out of his disguised form he causes an explosion with a big ass hit box that ragdolls you for half a year.
This killer truly takes no skill, no brain, and causes survivors to get a high cortisol gameplay.
Speaking of survivors.
-Customer
It's alright. He is just a classic beginner friendly survivor, nothing too special.
-Fighter
This is the most annoying class in the whole game.
Not only do you get a counter, but you also get an attack that either invest your controls, blinds you or slows you down. Good thing about this class is that it's balanced. If you miss your counter you will get weakness (more damage from external attacks) and if you miss an attack you will lose all of your attacks (I think).
So far, this class seems to be balanced, what's so bad about it?
It's the fact that every single piece of shit that plays this game thinking that it's a sole survivor asym uses it. It not only makes my job harder as a killer for me to kill survivors hidden around the map, but the fact that they fight back is also very annoying.
It's like if I am in some kind of egg hunt trying to kill all these Mario 64 bunnies. 🥀🥀
To make matter even worse, they always lose. They just make my gameplay as a killer boring and unsatisfactory.
-Medic
Same as fighter but worse.
These fucking rats hide in the map, and if they get found they will run towards survivors to make them help medics (its a golden rule across all games) and they will refuse to heal those who helped them and only heal themselves. They are parasites leeching off of us. They have such high egos that they believe they can win an LMS only to get folded in seven fucking seconds.
-Security Guards
Only sweats play them, and they are fairly cooperative. You have one half of night guards that help their team until the very end by slowing the killer down, pointing their location, holding doors closed, and keeping everyone safe while telling them the location of the remaining gens (Fighter and medics do the same too, but very rarely, not as often as night guards), and the you have the othe half of brain dead kids that loop the killer and stay completly invicibe and out of their line of sight. It's like trying to kill/capture your own shadow. You will never be able to find them and/or reach them.
-Technician
This fucking sucks
Maps:
-Warehouse
It's alright, good looping spots and amazing layout. It's very friendly for all characters (except for that one looping spot where Springtrap can just put two bear traps and close it completly ensuring at least one kill).
-Pizzeria
Same as warehouse, just a little bit smaller. Only problem is the night guard part with the two doors. That place is a dead end that can either make a survivor lose all of their hp or a killer lose all of their time.
-Forest.
This map is THE WORST.
NOT ONLY DOES JT HAVE TERRIBKY LONG LIOPING SPOTS, IT HAS A SHIT TON OF DOORS IN CONVENIENTLY PLACED PLACES. THIS IS ANGER AND ANXIETY ONCARNATED JNTO A SINGLE HORRIBLY PUT TOGRTTHER MAP.
ITS AN ABORTION OF NATURE AND SHOULD NOT EXIST.
With that said. The only way to fix forest is by destroying it and making a new map from scratch. You cannot save anything from that bullshit you call "map"
