Hey all, wanted to get your opinion on next steps with this card given that it is 2/1000 away from a Pristine. You can check out the DIG report here: https://my.taggrading.com/card/G8514333
It got perfect marks on surface, edges, and corners, only barely missing Pristine due to centering. The DIG report says that it’s 50T/50B, 49L/51R on the front, and 51L/49R, 47T/53B on the back. However, looking at the images in the DIG, I’m not sure I totally agree with that, especially given the “hazy”/“blurry” borders on the backs of Japanese Pokemon cards. Plus there are several reports out there of the AI centering detection tool that TAG uses regularly being off by 1-2%; there was just a big post about it on the TAG subreddit.
So what do y’all think? Can this get a BGS BL 10? (And if so, do I crack or do I crossover?) Or should I crack and resubmit to TAG and hope the machine is more generous with its centering measurements?
