Hi guys,

Hoping to hear from anyone who has tried both the Altra Experience Wild 2 and Wild 3.

Where I live, we don't have the shops where I can try them on, so keen to get some feedback.

I currently have the Wild 2 and really like the shoe overall, but the high collar does rub on my ankle. I have fairly skinny but slightly wide feet, so I suspect someone with thicker feet might sit above the collar and avoid the issue. I had a similar problem with the Torin 7, but the Torin 8 fits perfectly, so curious if the fit has improved in the Wild 3.

I also prefer a slightly softer cushioning — for example, I really like the feel of the Experience 2 (road).

For those who’ve tried both:

• Has the ankle/collar fit changed at all in the Wild 3?
• Does the midsole feel softer or unchanged compared to the Wild 2?
