I am seeing some conflicting feedback on these. I would like to purchase the 100 mm patent leather. I am usually a true size 38 in all designer shoes and in my Louboutin boots.

I have seen it is recommended to go up a half a size because of the height of the heel it will push my foot forward and make the toebox feel tighter, I also heard to go down a half a size because they will stretch and then I have also heard that they are true to size!

Unfortunately, I cannot try them on because there isn’t a place that sells them anywhere near me. So I am going to order them and hope that they fit, but would love to know for those of you that own them how the sizing worked for you. I know I can return them, but I would like to save myself the hassle.

I’ve seen some conflicting thoughts regarding these. Some say that they look very business casual, some say they are for the office only, some say they are “granny heels“… if I got them, I would want to be able to wear them out to dinner, to events… I don’t own a pair of Loub heels yet (only own boots) and I would want my first pair to be versatile. I love the thicker heel, the round toe, and the everlasting sole (also the padding inside). So it does check all of my boxes except for the negative feedback I have seen.

Would it be a waste to get these as my first pair of heels? I don’t work (outside the house) so they would be a going out shoe for me. I try not to care what people think, but some comments I have seen on other social media platforms have been off-putting.

What do we think?

Sidenote: I have no place near me that sells them so there’s no way to see them in person.

Edit to add: I am deciding between these and the 100mm Miss Z sling backs.
