Mark Duplass Character
Obviously his role matters in some way because they’re keeping his characters name a secret. I think it’s obvious he’s with Async. If you check out IMDb cast list it shows a little girl playing a young version of the older main character Mary. There are also 3 actors playing characters called Phil’s wife, Phil’s son, Phil’s daughter but there is no one listed as Phil. So we’re getting some flashbacks on the movie it seems. What if we also see what happened with Peter Tench in some flashbacks and Mark is playing him?? I know it’s wishful thinking most likely but what if Phil’s family is a fake name and it’s actually Peter’s family! Both P names. I know. I’m reaching. But I think it would be cool. Otherwise, I feel like he is at the very least playing someone who is a named character from the series. Otherwise they would have shown his name by now. It has to be a significant reveal. Right?! I’m dying to see the movie.
