Menus for files in overview search?

So you know that search function that comes up when you go to the overview?

Is there some setting or extension or something that makes it so you can right-click on the file and get an option to open the containing folder in Files, or open it in another app than the default one, or, preferably, all of the above?

I couldn't wait, but decided to install 26.04.

Now, however, it seems that Firefox is starting very slowly... not just the first time after reboot, but every time.

I installed the flatpak version as a stopgap. But I can only hope this isn't going to be a trend.

Anyone had the same experience?

System info:

  • Framework 12, 13th Gen Intel® Core™
  • Fedora 43
  • Kernel 6.19.13-1200.fc43.x86_64
  • BIOS 03.07

I haven’t been using my Framework 12 for a while, since I was waiting for a hardware replacement. Yesterday I finally got it replaced and started up the computer again. I installed some updates that were pending, including the update to the latest firmware version.

Now, however, I discover that the stylus no longer works on certain apps, where it worked perfectly before. The cursor moves with the stylus, but touching the screen gives no input: nothing happens. I can’t draw or click on menu items or anything.

The apps in which I noticed this behavior so far are Krita and Obsidian. (The stylus works as expected in a number of other apps, including GIMP, Xournal).

Has anyone had the same problem? Could it be related to the firmware update? What’s the common denominator between Krita and Obsidian?
