I hate being a short woman
Earlier, while I was scrolling, I came across a post about actresses' heights. It listed heights from 148cm to 156cm, and everyone in the comments was like, "Where are all the normal-sized actors?" or "The film industry really is into children," and "I was that height when I was 12," and all of those comments had thousands of likes.
Honestly, it annoyed me so much. Whenever someone replied saying they were around the same height as the women in the video, people would respond with insensitive comments like, "Didn't you drink milk while you were growing up?" or "Skill issue."
The struggles of being a short woman aren't talked about enough. I know this subreddit is mainly for men, and many of you might jump on me saying, "It’s not as hard for you as it is for us!" I mean, sure, but downplaying our issues isn't going to solve yours. Short women face problems too, such as struggling to get jobs, not being taken seriously (which is often more prevalent for short women than short men), and being treated like children. Our world can be so disgusting and unfair; not everything is about beauty standards. Ugh.
(Note: these aren't all the issues short women face, I'm just naming a few)
