What the fuck was I supposed to do??? How do you even get past centipedes

I just finished my first ever survivor playthrough, the game was pretty fun . I was very excited to play the new character hoping for a new storyline or similar but.... They just drop you in ? Like no cutscene no nothing as if you already played them for a while and then just reloading your save idk what to do now? For gourmand I'm stuck in the fucking citadel hell and I REALLY hate shaded citadel and subbterean areas like that

For the artificier I am stuck in the garbage wastes(I didn't find this on my survivor playthrough) scavenger hell now how am I literally supposed to get past them and even if I go to the right side of the starting room I find shelter yes but the paths just eventually connect back to where I was first dropped in.

For the hunter I'd say it's just a survivor with a extra spear now... And a decreasing cycle count ig. I think I have to deliver the green virus to the looks to the moon before my cycle count hits 0 ? Since in my survivor playthrough I saw it having 5 of them and I ate one there but yea I thought of going up of farm arrays and found Skylands (which I did find in chimney for my survivor playthrough but didn't explore it) and I thought it would be easy as I would go to chimney back and maybe meet five pebbles instead but I found pipeyard (also didn't find this area on my survivor playthrough) and I'm very lost as if all the routes lead to a subbterean like place .

Honestly I expected alot of different areas but it's just survivor but with different buffs and starting points man .
