Hey there, so, Pipsqueak 2 sucks. We're so cooked. It can't stop kissing my character non-consensually, regardless of the dynamic between them, which I find not only uncomfortable, but also fails to advance roleplay. And they are removing all free models but Pipsqueak 2 very soon, which will make starting new chats highly impractical.
I do write fanfics on AO3, but I sometimes use the scenarios people come up with in intro messages to bots, and a bit of the best chat I have with it, for writing inspiration. As such, I'm looking for free alternatives focused on roleplay with characters. I already use the Chai app, Janitor AI, and AI Dungeon. The former had many of my chats removed and reduced their quality as well, and the rest are better than Character AI, but not by much. I'd greatly appreciate any genuine recommendations that might fit my needs.
The most important aspects to me are: a variety of existing fictional characters, good memory, and being able to push the story forward. As for NSFW, I usually have a mix of both smut and semi-fluff scenarios in mind, so I want the bot to sustain both (AKA no strict filter and not pure heavy NSFW like CrushOn)
