Looking for honest assessment from people who know US/UK admissions well.
My son is 14, Grade 9, German Gymnasium. Profile:
- GPA equivalent: 1.5 (German scale – top 10% nationally)
- English: C1/C2 (scored 23/25 on official Cambridge test)
- Attended university law lectures at an university
- Law firm internship
- started Robert Shiller’s Yale Financial Markets course on coursera
- Business simulation project (35 slides)
- Church youth group leader
- IQ ~130, mensa-member
- No major national competition wins yet (working on it)
**Budget available: ~€150,000 total for education**

- What’s the single biggest gap in his profile right now?
What should we do? Boadring school+nice university or just nice university(oxbridge, lse ivy league)
What is the smartest financial decision and what are his odds?
