Does anyone know why they don't allow canon characters to be drawn in attacks now? They weren't banned in attacks before, they just couldn't be uploaded as a character.

I get why we can't upload them as characters without changing them (might be iffy with copyright and imply a level of ownership), but AF isn't monetized, so there shouldn't be a copyright issue in just adding them to attacks alongside actual characters even if their design isn't changed. Especially since they've already ruled that Pokémon are fine to include in attacks as-is since they're creatures and not characters, which copyright wouldn't care about as a distinction.

Has anyone gotten clarification as to why this rule was added?
