4 nights in Rome + 4 nights in Naples (June 25th - July 3rd)

Hey everyone!

This June, my mom and I are traveling to Rome for 4 nights (checking out on the 29th).

Accommodation (main question): I'd like to stay close to the city center but also near one of the two main train stations: Termini or Tiburtina. The reason is that on one of our days in Rome, we're planning a day trip to Firenze on an early train, so being close to a station would be really convenient. Which apps or websites do you recommend for booking? I'm only familiar with Airbnb and Booking.com, so any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Also, do you think those areas are a good choice, or is there a better neighbourhood that's still reasonably close to the stations? Our budget is around 350–450€ for the 4 nights.

Vatican visit: Which day would you recommend? We're currently thinking of going to Florence on the 28th (Sunday) and visiting the Vatican on either the Friday or Saturday before.. but is there a better day to go?

Naples itinerary: For the other part of our trip, we'll be staying with a friend in Naples for the remaining 4 nights. Since it's my second visit, I already have the city covered, but I'd love recommendations for nearby day trips. I'm thinking of visiting Caserta, Pompeii, and Ercolano and possibly Sorrento. Are all of these worth it, and is there anything else you'd highly recommend in the area?

Thanks so much! ~~

How to tell real from fake crocs?

I’ve been trying to find real Shrek Crocs on Vinted but I’m afraid to buy a counterfeit. I have no idea how to tell if they are real or fake shoes.
Can you guys tell from the pictures if they’re real or fake?

Im going to do my Erasmus+ semester this September in Rome (at Sapienza University).

I know Rome is one of the most expensive towns in the country and possible in Europe as a whole, so I need to find a place (no luxuries) that fits my needs and budget.

I would prefer a whole apartment instead of a room in shared apartment. I don’t mind if it’s a studio without a dedicated bedroom or anything. It just needs a kitchen for me to cook my meals and a bathroom.

I’ve been searching mostly on UniPlaces and I don’t know if that’s the best place to search for this stuff. Most places are over 1000€ per month and that’s a little unreasonable and out of budget. I say 700 euro is my limit.

Thanks!
