Hello,

I will conduct a promotion day for Kill Team, to get people into the hobby.

I remember a few weeks ago a post from a person, who conducted an intro game, which went horrible. People in the comments pointed him to a community-made scenario for this exact type of game.

Sadly, I cannot find the post anymore...

Does someone know what I'm talking about?

Also, do you have any experience with intro games? What are your biggest things to look put for?

I plan to set up one table with three operatives per side, to show the basics behind moving, shooting, charging and fighting.

Then I want to prepare a second table with a single objective, no tac ops and two elite teams.

Basically, a simplified version.

Then, if possible I want to prepare a 'real' table, for people, that have more experience.

Does this sound reasonable? What do you think?

Hello, I have problems understanding / identifying the correct type of terrain the upper levels of the Volkus killzone has.
Picture 1 shows the two strongholds. (A) describes the upper levels as Vantage and Ceiling. No other letter targets these areas, therefore I think the second to last point applies:
"All other parts of it are Heavy Terrain"

--> That would mean that all of the Heavy Terrain of the upper levels is Heavy terrain connected ti Vantage terrain. Therefore the following applies:
"Thirdly, for the purposes of obscured, ignore Heavy terrain connected to Vantage terrain the active operative or the intended target is on."

For the large ruins (picture 2) the wall connected to the vantage point is labeled as light (B).

So to my understanding:

When it comes to the strongholds, the ramparts are Heavy connected to Vantage.

When it comes to the large ruins, the ramparts are Light.

Am I wrong in my assessment?
