A family member was put on a PIP. I’ve always heard this means he will be almost certainly fired, but this person is convinced he’s gonna get out of the PIP and keep the job if he gives it his all. What are the chances of him not being fired? He’s refusing to look for another job and is saying I don’t believe in him. He says he has to use all his energy to prove himself at work and I’m saying it’s too late for that! Am I overreacting? How can I support him through this?
