Please share your experiences trying to get vida software access and how I can do the same. I want to work on one, but I want to follow service manual and all procedures but can’t get access to it.
A quick Google AI overview states:
“Volvo VIDA (Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales) is the official dealer-level software used for diagnostics, service, repair, and software downloads on Volvo vehicles, requiring a DiCE (Diagnostic Communication Equipment) unit. It operates on a subscription basis, generally supporting 1999+ vehicles, with specialized support for 2016+ models (SPA platform).”
Since it says aftersales I hope there might be a chance I can access it. Am I gonna need an expensive scan tool or can I hook up to my laptop to view pdf’s for the maintenance procedures I’d like to complete? Car is a SPA chassis 2019 model
