Hey guys, quick update on the crazy cello professor situation. Thanks for all the advice on my last post, it really helped me keep my sanity. Things escalated quickly, but I think I finally cornered her.

So, like I mentioned in my last edit, I asked her privately for the final exam syllabus. She completely left me on read. Instead of replying to me, she went straight to our class WhatsApp group and doubled down, basically saying "I already told you I don't want you in my class. This is what I see fit." On top of that, she randomly changed our official class time again to this Friday. I work part-time on campus and had to scramble to adjust my shifts just to show up for her arbitrary schedule.

I took everyone's advice, thanks to you all once again. I didn't get mad, didn't argue, and didn't give her any excuse to call me disrespectful. I just sent a very dry, polite message to the group chat. I told her that since the university hasn't officially suspended me, I'm legally required to attend classes. I mentioned I took time off work to be there this Friday, and politely reminded her (in front of everyone) to send me the syllabus I asked for so I can actually prep for the jury.

Now the whole class can see she's actively withholding my exam material while I'm just trying to do my job as a student.

I'm going to that class this Friday, which is technically two days later (It's Thursday 01:16 atm, didn't sleep yet). I'm 99% sure she's going to yell and kick me out as soon as I walk in. But I'm ready. I wrote a super formal, lawyer-level petition addressed to the Dean and the Department Head. It outlines everything: physically kicking me out of class, messing with my work schedule, deliberately withholding my exam material, and all the toxic group chat messages. I printed out 9 pages of WhatsApp screenshots with timestamps proving she ignored my requests. It's all stapled and sitting in my backpack right now.

If she tells me to get out tomorrow, I'm not going to argue or cause a scene. I'll just say "alright," turn around, walk straight to the admin office, and hand in the paperwork. There is just one thing that's bothering me. What should I do if the professor lets me in her class and decides that she wants to stay cool with me?

Wish me luck, guys. I'll let you know how the confrontation goes.

TL;DR: Professor ignored my syllabus request and doubled down on banning me in the group chat. I didn't take the bait, publicly stated I'm legally attending class this Friday, and asked for my material again. I have a 9-page formal complaint ready for the Dean if she kicks me out. But now I'm wondering: what's my play if she actually lets me stay in class and acts like nothing happened?

Hey everyone, I really need some advice because I feel like I'm losing my mind. I'm a university student studying music education (focusing on cello) and I'm planning to apply for some study abroad programs in Europe next year, so my GPA is literally everything to me right now.

The problem is my individual cello professor. She's the only cello teacher in the department, so I can't just switch to someone else. Lately, she's completely lost it and I think she has a personal vendetta against me.

She's been terrorizing our class WhatsApp group for weeks. She constantly insults us, randomly changes our official Tuesday classes to Thursdays (which is my only day off, and I live far from campus), and threatens to fail us for attendance even though she never takes an official, signed roll call.

Recently, things escalated. She falsely accused me of "bullying" another classmate in the group chat. I actually messaged that classmate privately, and they were super confused, saying I didn't do anything and they never complained to the professor. I have the screenshots to prove she made it all up.

Because I didn't feed into her drama and just gave her cold, polite replies, she completely snapped today. She sent a message to the group chat literally saying: "Find another major. I don't want you in my classes anymore. See you at the final exam." So, I'm officially banned from her class via a text message.

Here is the catch: Our final jury is in exactly a month (June 8). Because she banned me, she hasn't given me the specific scales or etudes I need to play for the exam. I know this is a trap. If I show up without the "right" pieces, she'll just fail me in front of the other jury members and legally ruin my GPA by saying I didn't prepare.

I just texted her strictly asking for the official exam repertoire so I can practice on my own, but I'm waiting for a reply (she's probably going to ignore it or say "you should have known").

I have ALL the screenshots of her insults, the fake bullying accusation, and her banning me from class. But I don't know when to use them.

Should I go to the Dean/Head of the Department right now with a formal complaint? Or should I just try to survive the jury by practicing the pieces I already know, and report her after my grades are finalized? I don't want to trigger her right before the final, but I also need to cover my ass.

Any advice would be appreciated!

TL;DR: Toxic, power-tripping professor banned me from class over a WhatsApp text and isn't giving me the material I need for my final jury in a month. I have all the screenshot receipts. Do I report her to the administration now and risk retaliation during the exam, or wait until grades are in?

UPDATE 12:49PM UTC+3: I asked my professor to hand the documents regarding my finals. She left me on read. It's been ~40 mins since she read the message
